About the Author

My writing journey started in my youthful years.  I loved to write plays, poetry, and journal.  I realized I had a knack for it when I wrote my first movie script around eleven or twelve years old.  Writing has given me a way to communicate that most often cannot be verbalized. I am a better speaker because of my writing abilities, so I started to make a career out of it.

A couple years ago, I stumble across my book of poetry I wrote as a teenager.  I laughed until I cried at the crazy things I wrote about as a child.  Some funny, happy, and sad memories.  I was reminded of what I promised that little girl, "when I get older (in my 40's) I would become an author and write books".  I had to fulfill her promise and doing so caused a reawakening in me.  I reunited with that love and passion for writing and it has given me my voice back. This time I'm ready for the world to hear.

Aside from writing, I am in love with Jesus Christ and enjoy consulting, reading, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.  My family brings me such joy and many headaches (LOL). I have been married for over 20 years to my incredible husband, and we have two beautiful daughters and one grandson.  I consider my grandson a bonus child; he is our promised child since me and my husband have always wanted a son. 

I am not just your average girl, my skills are versatile and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise with others because I believe growth is a process and we all deserve to have access to resources and tools that can help us grow and excel.  Knowledge is the greatest tool one can ever possess.  It is a powerful tool when used in the right way.  I believe with time and effort you can do it all and have it all.  Most importantly, keep your priorities in order.  Love what you do but understand it isn't what makes you who you are.

I have been involved in my community for over 20 years and enjoy serving the community in numerous ways – giving, volunteering, and advocating. There is always something to do.
